Pasadena Police report that a 29-year-old Pasadena man was stabbed in a Kentucky Fried Chicken parking lot located near the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Montana Street at 1:35 a.m. Sunday.
Pasadena Police Lt. Pete Hettema said that witnesses called in a group fighting in the parking lot of the KFC restaurant. Upon arrival, police officers located a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he remains in stable condition.
The victim identified the suspect in the alleged assault as a man who works with the victim’s wife, police said.
Lt. Hettema said the victim suspected that the man was having an affair with his wife, so he drove to the restaurant to confront him about it. A physical fight ensued between the men, and the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim several times with a knife before leaving the scene with the victim’s wife in a Gray 2016 Dodge Charger.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man who was wearing a black KFC shirt at the time of the incident. He is still at large.
