Pasadena police officers are investigating an incident at Oakland Avenue and Villa Street Thursday night when a Pasadena man was stabbed and sustained two puncture wounds.
The 20-year-old victim is now in a local hospital but has not provided clear information about the incident.
Lt. Mark Goodman said officers went to the hospital at about 9:24 p.m. after receiving a report of a man who had arrived at the emergency room with two non-life threatening stab wounds.
“The victim told officers he was walking in the area of Oakland Avenue and Villa Street when he was stabbed by an unknown suspect with an unknown object,” Goodman said. “The victim refused to provide further information and was not cooperative with investigative efforts.”
Goodman said the man had a laceration or puncture wound to the left rib cage, and another puncture wound to the left side of his back. He is being treated as officers seek more information.
Anyone with information about the incident is advised to call the Pasadena Police Department at (626) 744-4241.
