Maranatha High School – The 50th Finale: Celebration Weekend in 2 Weeks

Maranatha High School is excited to round out a year of celebration with the big finale: the 50th Anniversary Weekend Celebration! Please join MHS for an inspiring look at its heritage and history and to pray for the next 50 years!

Thursday, September 10

• Golf Tournament hosted by the MHS Athletic Booster Club
Enjoy a round of golf with friends at Brookside Country Club while raising funds for the MHS Booster Club. Click here for info and to sign up.

• Heritage Dinner for Trustees and School Leadership
Maranatha’s current and former leaders will meet at the Tournament of Roses’ House to reflect on God’s goodness to Maranatha over the last fifty years.

Friday, September 11

• Friday Night Lights
Cheer on the Minutemen and meet current families at our 1st home football game of the season. The night will be filled with lots of special surprises and 50th festivities, including the MHS archive featuring pictures, stories, and memorabilia.

• First 50: A Collection of Maranatha’s Past
Maranatha’s Archives open in the Student Center from 5:00-8:30 p.m.

Saturday, September 12

• 50th Celebration All-School Party!
MHS’ fiftieth school year culminates in this all-school “reunion” as everyone from Maranatha’s past, present, and future gathers to celebrate the anniversary of our original dedication service.

• Reception and Campus Tours
The event will start by enjoying heavy hors d’oeuvres and music on the Fountain Plaza from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Guided campus tours will also be available.

• First 50: A Collection of Maranatha’s Past
Maranatha’s Archives open in the Student Center from 5:00-7:00 and 8:30-10:00 p.m.

• “Looking Back, Looking Forward” – Rededication & Worship Celebration
You won’t want to miss this time of celebration as we gather in the Ambassador Auditorium to look back to MHS’ beginnings, then rededicate the school to God for the next fifty years. The celebration continues with special musical guest Tommy Walker.

• Dessert Reception
The evening will end by enjoying dessert and coffee on Fountain Plaza.
