Pasadena Police Lt. John Mercado reports that employees at a Pasadena MetroPCS store, located at 664 N. Los Robles Ave., were robbed at gunpoint early Thursday night.

Lt. John Mercado said the masked suspect entered the store at 6:55 p.m brandishing a handgun and demanding money. He then ordered two employees, a man and a woman, to get down on the floor as he exited the store with an unknown amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white or Latino man, between 20 and 25 years old, about 5’11” tall. He was wearing blue jeans, a black sweater, black sunglasses, a black baseball cap and had a black bandanna covering his face.

No injuries were reported. The suspect is still at large.

This is the fifth such robbery in the San Gabriel Valley in the past month. Another similar crime took place at a Pasadena MetroPCS location on Dec. 12 and three other MetroPCS stores in West Covina, South San Gabriel, and Duarte. Police report that all robberies have similar suspect descriptions but no link has been confirmed.
