Pasadena Health Nonprofit MEMAH Welcomes New Board and Advisor Board Members

Pasadena nonprofit Men Educating Men About Health, known as MEMAH, educates the local community about health issues affecting men and women. Now in its eighth year serving the Pasadena area, MEMAH is announcing the appointment of four new Board Members.

The newly appointed Board Members have extensive expertise and backgrounds in the fields of medicine and business. Their addition to the board will allow MEMAH to expand its services and capabilities. They are:

Dr. Valencia Montgomery, PsyD Cognitive Neuropsychology of Dementia Postdoctoral Scholar U.C.L.A

Michael Rummel Co-Founder and COO – InSource DX Diagnostics Inc. Produces FDA approved Blood Draw without a standard needle device.

Anthony Sharp, Director of Career Services, West Coast Ultrasound Institute Beverly Hills

Le’Ta Thomas Associate Governmental Program Analyst -California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Licensing and Certification Division

“MEMAH thanks its newest and existing board members, and community partners for joining us in enlarging the scope of our organization’s free health screening event, Get Healthy,” said Jim Morris, MEMAH’s Director.

MEMAH at its 2018 Gala held in October honored Congresswomen Judy Chu of the 27th District, as Woman of the Year 2018; Gerald Freeny President for the 2018-2019 Tournament of Roses as Man of the Year 2018; Alex Montes California Pizza Kitchen, Pasadena Managing Partner as Business of the Year 2018.
