Men’s Soccer Sends Larson to Next Level at Cal Lutheran

Zack Larson, a two-year letterman for the Pasadena City College men’s soccer team, accepted a playing scholarship to California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.

A forward, Larson was the Lancers’ second highest scorer in 2013 with eight goals and seven assists (23 points). He was selected to the All-South Coast Conference Second Team. In his freshman season of 2012, Larson tied for the team lead in goals scored with five. He finished his PCC career tied for No. 15 on the school’s all-time points scoring list.

Prior to attending PCC, the speedy Larson played at Deer Valley High in Antioch. As a Lancer, Larson played under head coach Edgar Manvelyan and associate head coach Henry Cabral.

Larson will be joining an up and coming Kingsmen program as Cal Lutheran made it to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time in 15 years in 2013.
