Steve Madison picked up more key endorsements last week.

The Sierra Club, Laborers’ International Union of North America Local 777 (LIUNA 777) and Planned Parenthood Advocates Pasadena & San Gabriel Valley announced they were backing the longtime City Councilman.

“I am so thankful to have the endorsement of these three key organizations that play such a major role in our community,” Madison said.

Madison is facing Tanerlin Godley and Ryan Bell in the District 6 election.

Madison continues to add to his previously announced endorsements.

Pasadena Now has also learned that late last month Madison received the endorsement of the Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors (PFAR).

“I am deeply grateful to have the support of PFAR,” Madison said.

PFAR was founded as the Pasadena Realty Board in 1907 and incorporated in 1922. The association is known as one of the strongest real estate boards in Southern California.

In a statement released with the endorsement President Eddie Ramirez said “Steve Madison understands the key role realtors play in making Pasadena a great place to live. PFAR has decided to support his re-election for City Council.”

Madison has been previously endorsed by Pasadena Fire Fighters Local 809, Pasadena Police Officers’ Association and former Mayor Bill Bogaard.
