Damage to overhead wires has disrupted service along the Gold Line this morning, causing commuter headaches for those who travel to downtown Los Angeles.
Metro officials said that the wires are being worked on along the Gold Line between the South Pasadena and Southwest Museum stations. Bus shuttles will reportedly replace train service between the stations.
The shuttle process is creating delays are expected as a result at the other stations along the route as well.
Officials are not certain how long it will take to complete repairs.
Gold Line commuters are advised to allow for plenty of extra travel time this morning.
