Fair weather is expected to continue through the week, with daytime highs expected to rise to above normal later in the week, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast.

The skies over Pasadena should be partly cloudy for the most part through Wednesday, occasionally becoming mostly cloudy or mostly clear as the clouds stream over the area.

Additional warming is expected Wednesday, says the forecast, as a ridge of high pressure grows in the area.

Tuesday should be mostly sunny, says the NWS forecast, with a high near 69 and a calm wind.

Tuesday night should be mostly clear, with a low around 52.

Wednesday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 71 and a calm wind becoming west southwest around five mph.

Wednesday night should be mostly clear, with a low around 54.

Thursday should be sunny, with a high near 78.

Thursday night should be mostly clear, with a low around 55.

Friday should be sunny, with a high near 79.

Friday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 54.

Saturday should be sunny, with a high near 74.

Saturday night should be mostly clear, with a low around 53.

New Year’s Eve, Sunday, should be sunny, with a high near 73.
