Pasadena residents and anyone else interested in monitoring Code Compliance cases in the City can now click on a new interactive map on the City’s website, and learn the status of a case and who’s the officer handling it.
The interactive GIS map is accessible through the Code Compliance Division’s webpage.
The Pasadena Department of Planning and Community Development launched the new Development Activity Map last September so residents could quickly locate open, or pending, Code Compliance cases. Right now, the information on the map includes the case number, the property address, a description and contact information for the assigned officer.
The user-friendly web-tool provides information on active building permits for residential new construction, additions and commercial projects. Also included are active planning projects, including Master Plans, Conditional Use Permits, and Certificates of Appropriateness.
A statement from the Planning Department said web analytics and community feedback have shown that the public is making significant use of this informational tool.
