New Kindergartners Welcomed at Noah’s Ark Play Performance

Mayfield Junior School’s Hayden Performing Arts Center was filled to capacity as next year’s incoming kindergarten students and their parents were officially welcomed at the annual Kindergarten Welcome Play. The current kindergarten class took the stage in a lively song-filled version of the story of Noah’s Ark complete with pairs of animals, storm clouds, unicorns and rainbows. A tradition for many years, the play is a rite of passage for the youngest members of Mayfield’s student body as they complete their first year of school, as well as a wonderful introduction for the incoming class.
