Nobel Laureate and Former Caltech President Dr. David Baltimore to Speak to Aspiring Pasadena Student Scientists

Caltech Professor of Biology Dr. David Baltimore, the 1975 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine, will address students at Pasadena High School in the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) on Friday, October 31 at 10:30 a.m. Dr. Baltimore, who served as president of Caltech from 1997-2006, will speak to the students about his path to becoming a Nobel Prize Winner and the importance of a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education.

Dr. Baltimore’s visit to Pasadena High School is being coordinated by Nobel Laureates’ School Visits, an organization that brings Nobel Laureates to middle and high schools across the country to inspire the nation’s most promising students.

The 1975 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine and Caltech President Emeritus Dr. David Baltimore visits Pasadena High School on Friday, October 31, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at Pasadena High School’s Little Theater, 2925 East Sierra Madre Blvd., Pasadena (Entrance to the Little Theater is off of E. Washington Blvd.).
