Prosecutors have charged one of two men who police said were involved in the shooting death of a 37-year-old Pasadena woman Saturday night as she visited the men’s apartment in the 200 block of West Washington Blvd.

Felipe More, 63, of Pasadena was charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon Wednesday. Prosecutors did not charge Andrew Moore, 55, for lack of evidence.

Police said the two men were arguing as the victim, Kelly Clark, was in their apartment. The argument turned heated until both men produced handguns and shot at each other.

One of the bullets struck Clark and caused her death, police said.

More and Moore, both residents of the Pasadena location where the shooting occurred, were both booked for homicide.

The two are not related. The relationship of the woman to the men has not been clarified by authorities at this time.

Police said that both handguns used during the incident were recovered at the scene.

An outdoor party at which children were present was underway just yards from the shooting. No one at the party was injured and no one from the party was involved in the shooting, authorities said.

A report in the Pasadena Star-News said More has pleaded not guilty to the charges in the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Pasadena and was scheduled to return for a preliminary hearing on April 26.
