Pasadena Police are investigating a tire shop burglary that occurred in the 2400 block of Foothill Boulevard at approximately 12:20 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Lt. Pete Hettema said an officer was on patrol in the area when he observed two subjects exiting the broken front glass doors of a tire store. When the suspects noticed the officer, they fled. He gave chase, and one man was apprehended without incident. More officers arrived and contained the area in the search for the second suspect, or suspects, but they were not located.

A police investigation revealed that the suspects broke out the front glass doors of the business and removed several sets of wheels and tires, some of which were recovered in the immediate area.
