Over 300 Guests Gathered for Families Forward Annual Twilight Tasting

Over 300 guests gathered at Families Forward learning center to enjoy tastings from sixteen local restaurants and businesses; enjoy live entertainment from The Labrateers; listen to Families Forward Alumna Brenda’s inspirational story; bid on over 100 auction items; and, most importantly, support their two-generation learning programs for at-risk families. With the help of sponsors, attendees, auction bidders, vendors, and volunteers, they raised over $75,000 for Families Forward Learning Center.

 

Participating vendors for the evening included: Azul Imperial, Boomtown Brewery, Braise & Crumble, Califia Farms, El Cholo Café, El Portal, Hope Café & Catering, Kitchen Mouse, Mt. Lowe Brewing Co., Panda Express, Pasadena Sandwich Company, Semolina Artisanal Pasta, Sierra Fusion, and Stark Spirits.

 

Families Forward Learning Center prepares families living in isolation and poverty to succeed in school and in life through two-generation learning programs. Families Forward programs are comprised of high quality, research-based early childhood education for children ages 0-5, and comprehensive services for parents, including parent education, leadership training, adult literacy, vocational guidance, and mental health support.
