Parsons Hires O’Malley as Vice President of Engineering Design Services

Parsons is pleased to announce that it has hired Mary Cay O’Malley as vice president of engineering design services. In this role, O’Malley will provide project and engineering management support for Parsons’ transportation projects. She will focus on design-build pursuits and the initial setup of other large, complex projects.

O’Malley has 25 years of experience, including megaproject management, design-build project implementation and management, light rail planning, and design transportation engineering. Over the course of her career, she has contributed to many significant projects such as the I-495 Capital Beltway Hot Lanes in Virginia, the I-25 Southeast Corridor Transportation Expansion (T-REX) Design-Build Project in Colorado, and The New I-64 Design-Build Project in Missouri.

O’Malley holds a master’s degree in transportation engineering and bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering and surveying from Ohio State University. She is a registered professional engineer in seven states, and she is also a registered professional surveyor.
