Parsons Wins Strategic Missile Defense Agency Contract

Parsons has announced that it was awarded the Systems Engineering task order (TO) under the Missile Defense Agency Engineering and Support Services (MiDAESS) contract. This TO provides engineering and integration support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in developing and deploying a highly integrated and effective Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) capability to defend the homeland, regional interests, allies, and deployed forces against ballistic missile threats of all ranges and in all phases of flight. The contract period of performance is July 29, 2015, to August 27, 2016.

Parsons, as prime contractor, will lead a team providing support to the MDA that covers the entire range of systems engineering activities. Services will include supporting the development of the BMDS architecture and its technical baseline; integration, testing, and verification; capability and architecture assessments; and fielding. The primary work will be performed in Colorado Springs, CO; Huntsville, AL; and the National Capital Region.
