The Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures van visited Pasadena Unified’s Washington Elementary STEM Magnet School Thursday morning and help brighten smiles of about 300 students.

The event, hosted by the Pasadena-Altadena Chapter of The Links Incorporated, put the focus on increased children’s oral health awareness.

The Colgate van visits more than 1,000 cities and towns each year, reaching more than 10 million children with free dental screenings and oral health education.

Students received a free dental screening while learning the proper way of brushing, flossing, and nutrition to help them keep their teeth and gums healthy for a bright future.
