A Pasadena communications group hailed as “one of the fastest growing companies in America” has earned its place on a list of elite businesses recognized for exponential growth.

For the second year in a row, Imprenta Communications has been honored by Inc. Magazine, the premier publication for business owners and entrepreneurs for more than three decades, according to a statement released by the company to the media. Imprenta is an ethnic marketing, public affairs and campaign firm.

In 2015, Imprenta garnered $19.4 million in revenue, while in 2014, it reported $19.1 million, making it a company that saw a 1,000 percent growth over the past three years.

“Imprenta is extremely proud to receive this recognition,” said Ronald W. Wong, President and CEO of the Imprenta Communications Group. “We are happy to be able to contribute to the success of our clients. Furthermore, this recognition is a testament to our unique business model – which celebrates diversity, and communicates and engages people in ways which truly understands and respects their culture and language.”

Found in 2001, Imprenta is a certified Minority Business Enterprise, and is 100 percent owned and operated by minorities, according to the statement. The company is unique in that it aims to bring together two of the fast-growing minority groups in the United States: Latinos and Asian Pacific American communities. According to the Imprenta’s website, their mission is to empower communities of color by giving them a voice and communicating to them in ways that respect their diversity and cultures.

“Imprenta fully embraces the rich diversity that makes United States the greatest country in the world,” Wong Said. “The Inc. Magazine recognition validates our commitment to diversity and engaging communities of color. We’ve shown again that we can achieve results and build a successful business which serves people of color, by people of color.”
