Pasadena Based Startup Providing Senior Care Resources Launches

CaregivingAnswers.com launched today, offering extensive expert guidance to people caring for aging loved ones. CaregivingAnswers.com was founded by Scot Cheben, Vanessa Terzian and Admond Fong, who met at a local event for seniors and related service providers. Despite having differing professional backgrounds, they quickly realized that they share a common concern; people are overwhelmed with the responsibilities that come with caring for elderly loved ones. Simply put, there had to be a better way for lay people to access resources for senior care. Given that Cheben, Terzian and Fong provided different professional services from one another through their locally operated businesses, they understood the need for trusted advisors in various fields. CaregivingAnswers.com is a Question and Answer portal that allows users to post their questions anonymously. All questions are answered by professionals in the senior services industry, providing comprehensive and comprehensible information in areas such as estate planning, insurance, home care, elder law and more.

“Caregivers often don’t know where to turn for help,” says Cheben. “Because, most of the time, they have other jobs to do and while they want to do what’s right, they simply don’t have the information they need. That’s the problem we solve. We are dedicated to providing valuable, resourceful information to those caring for an aging loved one.”

The three co-founders are on a mission to help caregivers navigate through the complexities of senior care. When asked what they do differently from other sites, Terzian answered with the company mantra: “The goal is to help eliminate the guess work for people so they can focus on spending time with their loved ones instead of the computer.”
