Pasadena-based Tetra Tech, Inc. has acquired eGlobalTech, the engineering services firm has announced.

The acquisition will marry the parent company’s consulting and engineering services to purchased company’s information technology (IT) solutions, cloud migration, cybersecurity, and management consulting capacity.

eGlobal is based in Arlington, Virginia.

A report in the Washington Business Journal said Tetra Tech, which brought in $2.96 billion in revenue last year, will absorb the contracts of eGlobalTech’s major clients, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Homeland Security and the General Services Administration.

“The addition of eGlobalTech and their laboratory incubator will allow us to pilot and apply exciting new techniques that incorporate artificial intelligence, data analytics, and advanced cybersecurity solutions for our government and commercial customers,” Dan Batrack, Tetra Tech Chairman said.

Sanjiv Jain, eGlobalTech CEO, said their employees are excited about joining the Tetra Tech family and the opportunities offered by “a broader, global platform.”

The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. eGlobalTech will be joining Tetra Tech’s Government Services Group.
