The Pasadena Citizen Service Center answered a total of 72,927 calls in 2017 and answered 73 percent of those calls within 30 seconds, the Center’s yearly activity report showed.
In addition to the calls, the Center also received and managed 28,604 service requests for 14 departments in the City, in addition to the Pasadena Humane Society and First Transit, the report said.
Service requests are received by phone, email, through the CSC website, mobile app and Live Chat.
CSC launched the Live Chat service in July 2017, accessible through the City’s website as well as the CSC and Public Works department webpages. Between July and December 2017, 2,420 chats were answered.
Live Chat will be expanded to additional City department webpages in the coming months, according to Mandy Templeton, Manager of the the Citizen Service Center.
