Pasadena City Council Raises Dog License Fees

Impound fees will also rise

The Pasadena City Council has approved an immediate increase in dog licensing and impounding fees. Dog License fees will increase from $16.16 to $16.54 for spayed and neutered dogs. Licenses for un-spayed or un-neutered dogs will rise from $76.16 to $76.54.

First-time dog impounding fees will increase $39.00 to $39.94. The first time impounding fees for cats and other small animals will increase from $15.00 to $15.36.

In order for the city to comply with Humane Society requirements, the increased fees will go into effect immediately.
