A 30-year-old Pasadena man lost $300 to a robber who punched him in the face and took the money he had just withdrawn from an ATM at the 1700 block of E. Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena Tuesday evening.
Pasadena Police Lt. Mark Goodman said they are now seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect who fled on foot along E. Colorado Blvd. after the strong-arm robbery incident.
“The victim was withdrawing money from a Wells Fargo ATM in the location, heard a noise, and was suddenly punched in the face by the suspect,” Goodman said. “The victim was knocked to the ground and the suspect removed the money from his hand before fleeing the scene. Officers responded, the area was checked both by ground officers and by our air support division, but the suspect was not located. He remains at large.”
Goodman said the victim did not require medical attention.
Goodman described the suspect as white or Hispanic male, 5 foot 9 inches tall, of medium built, with brown hair, and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
