Pasadena Police Arrest Local Man Suspected in Multiple Sexual Assaults

On September 27, 2018 Pasadena Police arrested Anthony Joseph Miller, 51, a Pasadena resident, after obtaining an arrest warrant resulting from the investigation of three separate sexual assault incidents reported to the police between August and September 2018 and occurring in Pasadena.

Pasadena Police Detective Matthew Crawford conducted an extensive investigation into the allegations, and uncovered corroborating evidence leading to the identity of suspect Miller as the individual allegedly responsible for the three sexual assaults.

Detective Crawford presented the cases to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

On September 26 an arrest warrant for Miller was issued. On Thursday, September 27,  Miller was taken into custody without incident with the assistance of the United States Marshals Southwest Pacific Regional Fugitive Unit.

13 counts of sexual assault-related charges were filed with bail set at $10.45 million. Miller remains in custody at the Los Angeles County jail.

Miller’s image has been released by authorities in the event there are unreported incidents involving the suspect, police said.
