Do your children know how to respond during an emergency or what to do when confronted by a stranger? If you are unsure about your answers to these questions, then you might consider enrolling your child to attend The Pasadena Kid’s Safety Academy. This is a 7-week program for kids ages 6 to 12 to attend with a parent or guardian. The program is sponsored by the Pasadena Police Foundation and classes are taught by the Pasadena Police Department, the Pasadena Fire Department, and other City Departments. Learn about Stranger Danger, Bicycle Safety, Fire Safety, Swimming Pool Safety, Healthy Eating, Recycling, Nature Conservancy and more.

You and your child will meet at various locations in the city on seven consecutive Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, beginning on June 15, 2013, at the Pasadena Police Department.

The Pasadena Police Department is now accepting applications for the summer academy program. Don’t delay, space is limited and we tend to fill classes quickly.
