Pasadena Police Special Enforcement Section officers executing a search warrant Friday night at 6:16 p.m. in the 1300 block of North El Molino Avenue reportedly found a large amount of narcotics, a loaded gun and significant amount of ammunition in a residence and arrested two men there.
Pablo Rodriguez, a Pasadena resident in his 20’s whom police described as a local gang member and felon, was arrested for being in possession of a gun, methamphetamines for the purpose of sales, and ammunition, authorities said.
The other man, Jesus Casares, a Pasadena resident in his 30’s, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, Pasadena Police Lt. Javier Aguilar said.
Aguilar said the residence has long been a neighborhood problem with numerous calls for service for gang members loitering and selling drugs.
