Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a Pasadena police officer has told the Pasadena Weekly’s André Coleman “that officers are leaving the department for more money, and the declining number of remaining officers has made it difficult for them to get support in dangerous situations.”
The officer says out on the streets, he feels “very, very unsafe.”
The veteran officer blames City Manager Michael Beck for the Department’s predicament, not Chief of Police Phillip Sanchez.
