Pasadena Police Tally Just Ten Arrests for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

Pasadena police report their final tally for New’s Year holiday was only 10 arrests, mostly for public intoxication.

Lt. Pete Hettema said there was one arrest for a vehicle code violation, one for the violation of a restraining order and three for public intoxication on New Year’s Eve, citywide.

He said on New Year’s Day — both along the Rose Parade route and at the Rose Bowl Game — there were also five arrests.

The Jan. 1 tally was four for public intoxication and one for violation of an unspecified Pasadena Municipal Code.
