Rev. Francisco Garcia, Director of Peace & Justice, All Saints Church

The Reverend Francisco Garcia, Director of Peace & Justice at All Saints Church in Pasadena, will be one of the speakers at the “Peace and Solidarity” rally at Pasadena City Hall on Thursday, August 28 at 7:15 p.m. “I’m marching to share the message that no one is disposable—that every life matters, “ said Garcia. “One of our core values at All Saints is working to turn the human race into the human family as we seek to make God’s love for all tangible at every possible moment. When we stand with the community of Ferguson, with the family of Michael Brown, we stand will all who work to overcome violence and to end the vicious cycle of systemic racism in our cities, our nation and our world.”

The rally will conclude a march from Central Park (275 S Raymond, Pasadena) to City Hall organized by local community members to show concerns with the criminalization of African-American men and to support the Ferguson community. The march begins at 6:30 p.m. Speakers at the concluding rally will include the Rev. Francisco Garcia (All Saints Church) and Pasadena Vice Mayor Jacque Robinson.
