Pasadena Public Health Department Closes Two Restaurants for Health Code Violations

The Pasadena Public Health Dept. reported today the following restaurants were temporarily closed by a city Environmental Health inspector:

MANDARIN SHOP (also known as MANDARIN GARDEN)
701 N FAIR OAKS AVE, PASADENA
Reason for Closure: COCKROACH INFESTATION
Closure date: 2014-12-05

CHINA BOWL
2610 E FOOTHILL BLVD, PASADENA
Reason for Closure: RODENT INFESTATION
Closure date: 2014-12-03

As of December 8, Pasadena Environmental Health Division Manager Liza Frias reports that “both of these food facilities remain closed (permit suspended).”
