Pasadena Unified to Make First Appearance at Southern California Marching Band Championships

For the first time a school from the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) will be competing in the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association (SCSBOA – Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association) Championships. Marshall Fundamental School will be sending their marching band to Warren High School in Downey on Saturday, November 22 to compete in Division 1A Field Championship Division.

Marshall recently had a strong showing at the Moorpark Field Tournament. The marching band and colorguard placed first, drumline won third place, and colorguard won sweepstakes (an award given to the best out of all divisions). Overall, Marshall has placed fourth out of 39 teams.
