Hampton Faces Wells in City Council Run-Off for District 1; Boulghourjian, Cahalan and Torres Win PUSD Seats

With all returns counted, the City Council District 1 seat remains contested in what will be decided by a run-off election, while PUSD seats were handed over in clear victories.

For City Council in District 1, Tyron Hampton will face former Pasadena Fire Chief Calvin Wells in a run-off election on April 21.

Sitting Councilmembers Margaret McAustin in District 2, Gene Masuda in District 4 and Steve Madison in District 6 all ran unopposed and thus will retain their seats.

In races for the Pasadena Board of Education, in PUSD District 2 Roy Boulghourjian has won the seat with 67.9% of the vote; in PUSD District 4, Patrick Cahalan won with 55.2% of the vote; and in PUSD District 6, Lawrence Torres won with 57.5% of the vote.
