On the final day of school before the winter holidays, many of the grades culminated in mini-celebrations of their own. While some of the classes hosted a brief performance of songs, others prepared for potlucks that bring parents and students together before the break. This year, the seventh and eighth grade classes completed their geography blocks, studying Europe and Asia respectively; after finishing their presentations on each country or region, the students provided a unique dish to represent the culinary traditions of the region, bridging the holiday festivities and classroom academics in a truly hands-on Waldorf fashion.
