Pasadena Water and Power is now offering a free Laundry-to-Landscape (“L2L”) Greywater System Kit for those who attend a City-sponsored L2LGreywater Workshop. Valued at nearly $160, the kit will include all the necessary materials to build a complete L2L system in a home.

In order to receive the voucher, PWP customers must first attend a training workshop, where they can determine if their home is ideal for a greywater system.

According to Gurcharan Bawa, General Manager, Water and Power, the free workshop will also provide information on how to properly design and install an L2L greywater system, how to measure a home’s greywater output, and which soaps and detergents are “greywater-friendly.”

Attendees will then receive a voucher for an L2L Greywater System Kit, redeemable at Landscape Warehouse in Pasadena. PWP also provides free at-home technical consultations to assist with greywater system installation.

The next L2L Greywater Workshop is scheduled for Saturday, April 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Villa-Parke Community Center located at 363 E. Villa Street. To learn more about the L2L Greywater Program, visit
