Pasadena Water and Power has scheduled a Laundry-to-Landscape Greywater Workshop in February, so residents can learn about the benefits of greywater and the basic steps in installing a L2L greywater system in the home.
Aside from introducing customers to PWP’s existing greywater program, the workshop will also provide residents with free on-site technical consultation, and a voucher for a free L2L Greywater System kit, PWP said in an announcement.
As part of the program, PWP also offers a direct install of L2L greywater systems for income-qualified customers at no cost.
February’s workshop will be on Thursday, February 27, starting at 6 p.m. at the Jackie Robinson Community Center, located at 1020 N. Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena.
To register for the workshop, visit the Citizen Service Center website and click on “Submit a Request.” It should take you to the Submit a Request page where you can choose “Water and Power – Events” among a list of Topic Areas.
From the dropdown list, select “Laundry to Landscape (L2L) Workshop 2/27/2019.” It will take you to a blank survey form that you fill and submit online.
Workshops are limited to 20 participants. After registering, you will receive an email confirmation with an application for the Laundry-to-Landscape (L2L) greywater program.
You may also download the application form through this link.
Complete the application and submit via email to email@example.com, or mail to the address provided on the application.
Low-income customers can apply to participate in PWP’s direct install program, where PWP can install an L2L system in your home at no cost. You can download the low-income application through this link. Funds are available on a limited basis.
