With the summer heat and the increased possibility of rolling blackouts due to the closure of the Aliso Canyon natural gas storage facility, Pasadena Water & Power has doubled the residential electric rebates under the Home Energy Rebate Program thru October 31, 2016 as part of efforts to reduce electric demand this summer.

According to Shari Thomas. Interim General Manager, qualifying products for the residential electric rebates include refrigerators, dishwashers, air conditioners, shade trees, pool pumps and more.

As an example, customers can now receive up to $185 for an Energy Star qualified refrigerator. For a complete list of Home Energy Rebate Program products, visit http://www.PWPweb.com/HomeEnergyRebates .
