Pasadena Weekend Weather Temperatures to Soar

Temperatures are expected to spike in Pasadena Saturday, as a high pressure ridge brings above normal highs into Southern California.

By Tuesday, a low should arrive causing temperatures to be around normal, the National Weather Service said.

Saturday should be sunny and hot, with a high near 98 and a light and variable wind becoming southwest at five to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday night should be clear, with a low around 69. A southwest wind of five to 10 mph becomes north in the evening.

On Sunday, the first in a series of troughs is expected to move through the Pacific Northwest and flatten out the high pressure ridge in the Southland, beginning a cooling trend that should continue through the middle of next week.

Sunday should be sunny, with a high near 94, and a north wind at five to 10 mph becoming south in the morning.

Sunday night should be clear, with a low around 68.

Monday should be sunny, with a high near 89.

Monday night is expected to see some patchy fog after 11 p.m., otherwise it should be mostly cloudy, with a low around 65.

Tuesday should have patchy fog before 11 a.m., then should be mostly sunny, with a high near 88.

Tuesday night should see patchy fog after 11 p.m., then should be mostly cloudy, with a low around 63.

Wednesday should see patchy fog in the morning, then should be mostly sunny, with a high near 86.

Wednesday night should have patchy fog, followed by cloudiness, with a low around 63.
