Pasadenan Jennifer Vanore Appointed UniHealth Foundation Vice President of Programs

UniHealth Foundation has announced the appointment of Pasadena resident Jennifer Vanore, Ph.D., to the newly created position of Vice President of Programs. Dr. Vanore will be responsible for overseeing grant activities and working closely with senior management to develop and implement program strategies in her new role.

Vanore joined UniHealth Foundation in 2015 as Senior Program Officer responsible for assessing and overseeing more than $14 million in UniHealth grants in Los Angeles and Orange counties. Prior to her association with UniHealth, Vanore spent three years at The California Endowment, most recently as Program Manager of its Center for Health Communities. Prior to working at The California Endowment, she obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago where her research focused on the community-based development of hospitals in Los Angeles County.

Vanore earned a B.A. in History & Women’s Studies from Vassar College and her M.A. in History from Yale and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. She is a Los Angeles native and currently lives in Pasadena.
