Pasadena’s First Octoberfest Toasts Beer

Pasadena’s Octoberfest took over the Rose Bowl with breweries, food trucks and live music. The afternoon event featured seasonal brews like Angry Orchard’s Cinful Apple Cider and Coronado Brewing’s Punk-In Drubic as well as year round favorites like Coney Island’s Hard Root Beer and Sam Adam’s Nitro IPA. The VIP lounge also featured food prepared with Samuel Adams’  Oktoberfest beer like the Harissa Carrot Salad with beer pickled vegetables, mint leaves and coriander creme. A German band, inflatable slide and stein hoisting contest rounded out the Oktoberfest celebration.
