Patchy Weather Predicted for Labor Day Monday

Labor Day morning will show some patchy fog and low clouds in Pasadena, as a deep trough of low pressure comes into the area and brings with it below normal temperatures early in the week. The fog will gradually clear before 11 a.m. Highs Monday will be near 80 as a light south wind at five to 10 miles per hour blows in, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Monday night will also have patchy fog after 11 p.m. with increasing cloudiness. Lows will be around 58 and the wind will be southwest wind becoming south in the evening at five to 10 mph.

The deep trough final begins to push to the east on Tuesday, says the National Weather Service, with the clouds clearing more quickly and bringing a healthy jump in maximum temperature. Pasadena and nearby areas could experience at least four to eight degrees of warming through the week.

After patchy morning fog, Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 85 and a light and variable wind becoming southwest in the afternoon. Tuesday night will be mostly clear with a low around 60.

Thursday – Sunny, with a high near 89.

Thursday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 63.

Friday – Sunny, with a high near 89.

Friday Night – Clear, with a low around 63.

Saturday – Sunny, with a high near 89.
