Pets of the Week at the Pasadena Humane Society

Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:

North Carolina (A412942) is a 2-year-old, spayed female, black pit bull mix. Our volunteers report that North Carolina is a real sweetheart. There’s nothing she likes more than crawling into your lap for petting and belly rubs. North Carolina is very energetic and loves going for walks and running around in our training yard. This smart gal has already mastered her sit command, and she’s working on stay and down.

The adoption fee for hamsters is $125, but as part of our Slam Dunk for the Animals event, North Carolina’s adoption is free thanks to generous donors! All dogs are neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before being adopted.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A412942, or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found at pasadenahumane.org.

Seton Hall (A413635) is a 10-month-old, male, black and white kitty who is as loving a cat as you’ll ever meet. The second he sees you, he starts rolling around on his back and sides to invite you to pet him and rub his head. Seton Hall is a very communicative cat. Whether he’s meowing to ask for affection or purring up a storm while being petted, Seton Hall is constantly showing how happy he is to be with you.

The normal adoption fee for cats is $70, but thanks to generous donors, Seton Hall is free to adopt as part of our Slam Dunk for the Animals event! All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before being adopted.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.
