Police Find Homemade Explosive Device

At about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday night, Pasadena Police responded to a residence in the 400 block of N. Sierra Madre Blvd. to investigate a suspicous item found inside. The appearance of the item led officers to believe it was a small homemade explosive device.

Officers evacuated the home and homes on both sides of the residence as a precaution. Los Angeles County Bomb Squad was called to respond.
