Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the December 29 drive-by shooting that left one man shot in a thigh in the 800 block of North Lake Avenue, Pasadena Police confirmed this morning.
Pasadena Police Lt. Terysa Rojas said the suspects were both arrested in Azusa.
The shooting was gang related, she said.
Arrested were Robert Arnaud, 27, a Los Angeles resident, and Jose Garcia, 32, an Azusa resident.
Rosas said Arnaud was arrested by Pasadena’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit during a traffic stop in Azusa late in the afternoon of December 30. Garcia was arrested by Pasadena homicide detectives at his home.
No weapons were recovered in the case, Rosas said.
Arnaud was booked for suspicion of attempted murder. According to booking records, he is being held on $3.05 million bond.
Garcia was arrested for being an accessory after the fact. He is being held on a $550,000 bond.
In the incident, a 19-year-old Latino and a 21-year-old Latino were fired upon two or three times by the passenger in a red car which followed them into the parking lot of the Popeye Lousiana Kitchen restaurant in the 800 block of North Lake Avenue at about 10 p.m.
The shots wounded one man but missed the second victim.
