On Tuesday at 7:16 pm, Pasadena police responded to the area of Colorado Boulevard and Marengo Avenue regarding a report of possible shots fired, according to Pasadena Police Lt. Mark Goodman.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to a witness who directed them to the location where he believed the shots came from and saw the alleged suspects fleeing on foot. No suspects or victims were located. However, a handgun was found in some bushes nearby.
Lt. Goodman reports that there was no indication of a person shot at the scene, and Pasadena Police received no notifications from local hospitals regarding a gunshot victim.
The witness told police one suspect was a man, the other a woman.
The man was described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, with a thin build. He was said to be wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants. The woman was only described as an an “Asian female.”
The investigation is ongoing, and the suspects are still at large.
