Police said that shortly before 2:00 p.m. today, a resident in the 500 block of Pepper Street saw two men knocking on the door of her neighbor’s unoccupied home across the street. The two suspects entered a waiting car that then drove around the neighborhood.

The Glendale police helicopter (an air operations partner with Pasadena PD) arrived on scene and witnessed males attempting to gain entry into the same property and a suspect vehicle parked at the rear of the property. Officers pursued them on foot, apprehending them nearby.

Pasadena officers established a perimeter and searched yard-to-yard with the police canine.
