Pasadena police today released information about a January double homicide incident which they said appears to have resulted from a gang feud, and have asked again for the public’s help to solve the crimes.

On Saturday, January 6, 2017 at about 11:51 p.m., Pasadena Police officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 100 Block of W. Claremont St. Officers arrived at the scene of a shooting and located the lifeless body of a young man, who was later identified as Pasadena resident Antione Sutphen, 24.

A second victim, who died from a gunshot wound, was later identified as Ormoni Duncan, age 24 and also a Pasadena resident.

The suspects (described below) who shot and allegedly killed Sutphen and Victim Duncan were seen driving off westbound on West Claremont Street towards Sunset Avenue and out of view.

Since the initial investigation Pasadena Police detectives have been working diligently, following up on information provided by witnesses, police said.

Although the motive remains unconfirmed, all information and investigative leads suggests a feud between a local Pasadena gang and a gang from the Duarte area which erupted a few months prior to the murders.

The suspects responsible for the murders have been described as follows:

1. Male Black, dark complexion, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 6’0” to 6’2” tall, and 210 to 220 lbs.

2. Male Black, dark complexion, approximately 25 to 30 years old, 5’10” to 6’0” tall, and 240 to 250 lbs.

3. Male Black, medium complexion, approximately 25 to 30 years old, 5’9” to 5’11” tall, and 210 to 220 lbs.

4. Male Black, light complexion, approximately 25 to 30 years old, 5’11” to 6’01” tall, and 180 to 190 lbs.

Witnesses have assisted Pasadena Police Detectives with the suspects’ descriptions.

Homicide investigators need the public’s assistance in identifying these individuals responsible for the murders.
