Polytechnic School’s Student-Athlete Council Hosts College Athletic Night on March 21

Poly’s Student-Athlete Leadership Council will host a College Athletic Night on Wednesday, March 21, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Garland Auditorium.

Athletes of all ages and their parents in the broader Pasadena community are invited to attend.

The program will feature a panel of Division I and III coaches, athletes, and admission officers, including: Tim Brunold, USC dean of admission; Colm McFeely, Occidental’s head women’s soccer coach; Koko Archibong ’99, Poly alumnus who played basketball at Penn, participated in the 2012 Olympic Games on the Nigerian basketball team, and played professional basketball overseas; Zibby Boyer ’11, track and field at UCLA and Betsy Mitchell, Caltech’s Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation.

The evening will be moderated by Poly faculty member and coach Rick Caragher.

School officials ask that those interested RSVP online if you plan to attend. Questions may be directed to Alexis Pappachan or Ella Cornwell.

Polytechnic School’s Garland Auditorium is located on the School’s Upper School Campus, situated at the corner of Cornell Road and South Wilson Avenue in Pasadena.
