Professional Child Development Associates Hosts Move-a-thon Kick-Off Mixer

Professional Child Development Associates (PCDA) hosted a Kick-Off mixer to raise awareness for its upcoming Move-a-thon, a family fun day of physical activities for all ages and all abilities. Attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while learning more about the Move-a-thon and services at PCDA. Several companies and individuals pledged to sponsor the Move-a-thon including Leduc Family Works, Combined Insurance Worksite Solutions, M.G. Skinner, American West Bank, New York Life, United Agencies, the DesJardins and The Mindful Collaborative. The Move-a-thon will be held on April 11 in collaboration with the City of Pasadena, Americans with Disabilities Act—celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center, and the Special Olympics Young Athletes Program.

PCDA is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of therapeutic services to children and young adults with autism and other developmental challenges.
