The Pasadena Animal League and the Pasadena Humane Society teamed up to host their annual Yappy Hour Fundraiser to benefit animals in need. This month’s Yappy Hour took place at El Cholo and raised funds to transport shelter animals to their “forever homes.”

“People love to dress up their dogs and pets have taken a larger role in people’s lives,” said Sean Downey, Vice President of Pasadena Animal League.

This event also included a St. Patrick’s Day themed doggy dress up contest.

Bill Ferguson, President of the Pasadena Animal League, said that they hope to host five more Yappy Hour events this year.

“Dogs are a member of the family – you don’t want to dine without them,” he said.

In the future, they hope to include cats in their Yappy Hour events as well.
